Well, that was a nice gift of a Friday off! Hope you all enjoyed the snow!
Tomorrow will be the Science Vocabulary Quiz that was supposed to be Friday. We will have the Chapter Test this coming Friday.
In Math it's a continuation of multiplying and getting a very large product. There are many steps to this process, so we will keep working on this, this knowledge may help with multi-step story problems Even when we work on other units, we will keep coming back to multiplication.
Our test on our new selection in Reading, "The Seven Children" will be on Wednesday.
I underestimated the amount of material on the first three commandments, I would like to have this test by Friday. I realize that it would be on the same day as the Science test, but I really don't want to push it to next week.
In Social Studies we spent the time last week learning and writing about the United States flag. Ask you child
about a regulation or rule concerning the flag. Onward tomorrow with the American Revolution.
In Grammar we have been learning all about nouns. Next week we will have a test on them.
